La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts presents veteran stage actress and former Olympic gymnast Cathy Rigby in the role that earned her a Tony nomination for her Broadway run. According to the Washington Post, “Rigby has mastered the singing, dancing and aerial shenanigans, but has also gotten to the core of the boy who wouldn’t grow up.” Soar with Peter Pan and the three Darling children as they fly away from their nursery to the magic and wonder of Neverland, where they encounter the cunning and evil Captain Hook, villainous pirates, a crafty crocodile and a sprightly fairy named Tinker Bell. Audiences of all ages will enjoy the adventure-filled and whimsical ride, not to mention the score that includes such classics as “I Gotta Crow,” “Neverland” and “I’m Flying.”
