Dennis Diamond, Louie Magic and Daryl Hannah (a guy, not the famed Blade Runner actress) are the three “past-their-prime” performers who take audiences on a surreal journey through magic, theater and slapstick comedy — and a basement in New Jersey — in Elephant Room. This trio of magicians insist on living their lives via sleight of hand, and they’ll blow your mind with their illusionary antics. As The New York Times said of the show, “Penn and Teller, meet Wayne and Garth. And another guy.” Written by the trio themselves — otherwise known as Steve Cuiffo, Trey Lyford and Geoff Sobelle (all wear bowlers) — Elephant Room was commissioned by Center Theatre Group and has enjoyed successful runs across the country.
