After performing as a trio last year at the intimate Monroe Forum Theatre at El Portal, John Denver tribute artist Jim Curry’s back on the MainStage starring in Country Roads: A John Denver Celebration with the whole band, including Denver band members John Sommers and Richie “Gajate” Garcia. Curry, whose voice was heard in the TV movie Take Me Home: The John Denver Story, celebrates the life of one of country’s most beloved singer-songwriters with his chart-toppers, like “Rocky Mountain High,” “Sunshine,” “Calypso” and “Annie’s Song.” Come hear the trademark harmonies and acoustic stylings, plus the stories, that made this American icon a musical tradition in Country Roads: A John Denver Celebration.
