We’re partnering with FoodShare’s composting experts to offer this great hands-on workshop. We’ll cover everything you need to know to turn green waste into nutrient-rich compost for your garden:

* Choosing appropriate “feedstock” materials

* Achieving the proper nitrogen:carbon ratio for ideal decomposition

* Moisture, temperature and time

* Troubleshooting problems

You’ll also get to practice your composting skills in the BCCF compost facilities.
