LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
We will meet on the traditional lands of the Huron, Haudenosaunee, and Mississauga peoples. As settlers on this land, it is our responsibility to acknowledge the history of violence and coercion that led to the establishment of this city and country. We want to recognize that many of us continue to benefit from this history of colonization and that acts of colonization continue to this day. We also want to recognize that it is our duty to treat the land with respect as the original peoples of these territories once did and continue to do so.

GROUPS
We invited #BlackLivesMatterTO, Idle No More, No One Is Illegal Personne n'est illgal Nadie es ilegal, Black CAP TO, Rainbow Railroad, and Blockorama & Blackness YES! to join us June 11th at Church & Bloor to rally against racism!
We invited LGBTQ groups to join us. These groups include PFLAG Canada, Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network, AIDS Committee of Toronto, SOY Sherbourne Health Centre, The 519, LGBT Youthlink: A Program of CenterLink, Queer Ontario, and Maggie's: Toronto Sex Workers Action Project!
We invited unions and students groups to join us. We invited CUPE Ontario, OPSEU, UNITE HERE!, Ontario Federation of Labour OFL, ETFO, Unifor Canada, OECTA – Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association, CUPW STTP, and Fight for Fairness CT. We also invited University of Toronto, York University, and Ryerson University Student Unions to join us. College Student Unions will be invited shortly.
