Veteran actor Dharmendra was recently present in one episode of a TV reality show. He's just another name of energy and laughter. But the ambiance turned rather emotional when the host decided to show everyone a special video dedicated to the veteran actor. Shot in a small Punjabi town named Sahnewal (Dharmendra's hometown) located in Ludhiana, the video chronicles the actor's life before he moved to Mumbai and eventually became a star.

From the school he went to, to the favourite sweatshop he often went to and even a bridge he often visited , the video featured too many elements of nostalgia together. No wonder the actor was overwhelmed, and broke down in tears after seeing how the people in his hometown loved him unconditionally. "You made me cry dear. This is where I dreamt of coming to showbiz. Even today, whenever I visit that bridge, I say ‘Dharmendra, you became an actor!," he was heard saying.

The actor also said he was deeply in love with the place, where he stayed before the partition took place. The emotions also took over Dharmendra's son Sunny Deol and grandson Karan Deol, both seated in the audience.

The family made it to the show to promote Karan's Bollywood debut Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas which hits the screens on 20th September.
