zindagi-na-milegi-dobara-poster-hrithik-2Over the years we have seen our fair share of boy bonding movies on celluloid! Remember Dil Chahta Hai? Or The Hangover? Well Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is another movie based on the theme of buddies but it’s not something anyone would have witnessed before, especially not in bollywood. Prior to the release of the movie director Zoya Khan faced the constant nagging question like “Is it inspired from Dil Chahta Hai”? or “Is it a remake of bollywood blockbuster Hangover”? To answer it blantantly it definately is not anywhere close to the two aforementioned movies.

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is a movie about friendship, about living life to the fullest, about fighting your inner fears and about discovering your own self.  It won’t cater to the audience who are looking for brainless masala flicks; rather Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is a movie that anyone can relate to. The best part about is that all the pratoganist in the movies are presented as larget than life. They come across normal human beings.

The movie is shot in exotic locations of Spain. Some may argue that the movie promotes Spain Tourism but behind the beautiful locations lies a story that does the talking. The movie has powerful performance from its principle cast. Abhay Deol is in prime form and delivers a brialliant performance. Hritik Roshan is first grade and lets his eyes do the talking and Farhan Akhtar is a revelation. Infact some may argue that he steals the limelight in some scenes. Kartina Kaif who is often considered as only a lucky charm and a beautiful face surprises with a powerful act.

The music of the movie will appeal more to the multiplex audience as it has a very contemporary modern feel to it. The songs Senorita & Ik Junnon standout.

This one’s more for audience with sophisticated tastes and sensibilities. It’s a film for a more evolved, mature and cinema-literate viewer that’s geared up to embrace and support newer genres of cinema. All in all it’s a must watch and should not be missed at any cost!!
