A man killed his six months pregnant lover two days ago by stabbing her several times and confessed to his crime two days later arriving at the police station himself on Monday.
The murderer confessed that the mother of his dead girlfriend was present at the time he killed his girlfriend who was six months pregnant with their second child. He stabbed her 26 times with a knife and claims to have had some kind of attack as he couldn’t stop stabbing her.
The 24-year-old Elroy Vollenhoven confessed to his crime without any shame and informed the police that he had committed the heinous crime two days before. The arrested criminal committed suicide in his cell at the Montague police centre.
Vollenhoven had apparently killed his 26-year-old girlfriend, Wadia, because she had accused him of raping her. Police was already in search of Vollenhoven due to the rape charges filed by Wadia.
The mother of the brutally murdered Wadia said that she was watching from a koppie near the house of the couple when she witnessed the boyfriend killing her daughter inhumanly and ran off.
The distraught mother informed the police saying, “Wadia had just come to sit down and watch TV with us when he came in. He grabbed her by her clothes and started stabbing her, without saying a word”.
