The plane is said to be used for monitoring and spying on the SPLA positions to ease attacks on the area.

He further said that it is now evident of Khartoum’s aggression on the South and that this is not the first time Khartoum is using foreign mercenaries against the South Sudan including the fighter planes.

Aguer also disclosed that the SAF are also planning to launch another attack on Jau. The aircraft is also reported to have come with two other fighter planes Mick 29 that bombed Jau before it’s shooting down while spying on the SPLA coordinates. He cited a Libyan pilot whom the SPLA captured in the late 80’s

The SPLA said that it is monitoring the steps taken by SAF and that they won’t enter the Sudanese territories to go and fight.
