The team led by SPLM Secretary for Information and Culture, Bol Makueng visited the Himodonge mass grave site where South Sudanese Anyanya heroes were buried in 1955 and appealed to South Sudanese citizens to remember their fallen heroes who died for the sake of the country during, before and after the signing of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) in 2005.

State SPLM spokesperson, Everlyne Lorot Lokorai said the party will construct everlasting monuments with names, date of deaths, county and state in collaboration with communities to remember the heroes.

They also visited Loronyo to pay condolences to the family of the late SPLM member Kanuto Ekebek.

The leaders called on the citizens to continue supporting their present government whose objective is clear and straightforward and appealed for new members to join the ruling party, SPLM.

He said joining the party will open ways for peace, unity, freedom and prosperity.

 The visitors urged the leaders to remain united and ensure service delivery to the citizens in the state.
