The parliament of Pakistan which had to decide if Pakistan should sort out ties with America over discontinued NATO supplies have declared it on Tuesday that America will have to commit to end drone attacks within the boundaries of Pakistan and must apologize for their inhuman activity of killing Pakistani soldiers on Pakistani soil in order to resume friendly relations once again.

The strict demand of an unconditional apology from American concerned authorities was put forward along a list of another 38 demands in the parliament in order to be on friendly terms with the United States.

A clear majority in the parliament voted in favour of the proposed demand which were read by the chairperson of the cross-party national security committee. The five page report of the demands put forward by parliamentarians was submitted today. It stated, “The U.S. must review its footprints in Pakistan. No overt or covert operations inside Pakistan shall be tolerated.”

The chief of the committee also said, “This means cessation of drone attacks inside the territorial borders of Pakistan, no hot pursuit or boots on Pakistani territory and the activity of foreign private security contractors must be transparent and subject to Pakistani law”.

President Asif Ali Zardari has called in a joint session of national and senate assembly for the overview of the 40 recommendations made by the Parliamentary Committee on National Security.
