UN atomic watchdog lashes out to Iran, which announces extra core installation
UN atoom agency IAEA has tapped Iran about his atomic program. The Governors’ Council has ruled in a private vote that Iran is lagging the international rules.
Refrigeration was reacted from Iran. The opening of a new atomic installation was also announced in response.
This increases tensions about the enrichment of uranium in Iran. The US is currently removing embassy staff from the Iraqi capital Baghdad because of the situation. According to Trump it can be “a dangerous place and we will see what happens.”
Threaten with bombing
Washington has long threatened that it will bomb the Iranian atomic complexes if no deal is reached with the regime in Tehran. This Sunday, the sixth round of discussion in Oman is planned between the two enemy parties. In the meantime, Israel is also threatening with an attack on Iran.
Against the background of these tensions, IAEA came today with his conviction of Iran. According to AP news agency, it is the first time in twenty years that the Governors’ Council has established that Iran is not complying with atomic treaties.
“We have to respond to this”
“The Islamic Republic of Iran has no choice but to respond to this political decision,” says the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement. Where the third atomic complex will be faced with the enrichment of uranium, it was not announced.
The Governors’ Council is one of two administrative bodies of the UN atomic watchdog. The Council consists of representatives of a few dozen countries. The resolution to condemn Iran was submitted by France, the United Kingdom, Germany and the US.
According to AP, nineteen countries voted for. Eleven countries abstained, the news agency writes based on anonymous diplomats. Russia, China and Burkina Faso voted against the resolution.
