As many as 37 people were found guilty of selling drugs at the Boeing Plant. The raid at the Military Aircraft production compound at a suburb in Philadelphia was conducted on Thursday.

23 people were charged after a federal drug raid which found them guilty of selling the prescription painkiller Oxycontin and other banned drugs while 14 people were held with attempted possession of various drugs for trying to buy them said U.S Attorney Zane David Memeger

One of the accused is a current or ex Boeing worker, and authorized have revealed that another arrest will soon take place.

U.S Attorney David Memeger said “This investigation and prosecution focused not only on the sellers, but also on the users because of the critical role that these employees play in manufacturing military aircraft,”

He further added” This wasn’t an organized ring. It was a number of independent actors,”

Meanwhile no indication has been made about lack of integrity of work on any Boeing Aircraft.

Till this point there has not been any official statement from the Boeing Spokesperson.

Boeing has about 6,200 workers in the Philadelphia area, the majority at the Ridley Township plant, which makes the H-47 “Chinook” helicopter and the V-22 “Osprey” tiltrotor aircraft.
