N.B. man Cody Rossiter sentenced to three years for impaired driving causing death

On December 12, 2011, 20-year-old Cody Rossiter, of Germantown, in Albert County, N.B., was sentenced to three years in jail for impaired driving causing death and impaired driving causing bodily harm, in connection with the death of 19-year-old Natasha Maillet, of Hillsborough, N.B.

Maillet and two other teenagers were passengers in a vehicle driven by Cody Rossiter that left the road and collided with a telephone pole on August 27, 2010. Maillet died on October 8, 2010, as a result of the injuries she sustained in the crash.

Cody Rossiter previously pleaded guilty to the charges and has been prohibited from driving for a period of five years.
