Police Describes 2 Wanted Vehicles in Teen Confinement Case

Police has announced that the two suspects of the immensely controversial confinement and sexual assault to have been using separate vehicles. The press release of Nova Scotia Police asked the general public for help stating that both the vehicles have Nova Scotia license plates. The two cars were described by the police as a grey 2003 Hyundai Elantra with the license plate FBP 233 and a brown 2002 Chevrolet Venture van with the license plate EZG 581. The suspects in pursuit are 47-year-old David James Leblanc and 31-year-old Wayne Alan Cunningham.

These men are already charged with the offence of forcible confinement and sexual assault. This Monday a report was filed which encompassed the story of a resident of Upper Chelsea in Nova Scotia’s Lunenberg County mentioning that a 16-year-old boy came to her front door with chains on his wrists and ankles. The boy was located and urgently treated at a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, where he is still recovering. He has confirmed to the police that he was being kept against his will for almost two weeks now.

RCMP has already showed their suspicion of the suspects still seeking refuge in Lunenberg County or Halifax County. Today the official press release has asked the general public to assist in this case with offering any leads or relevant information to help locate the culprits. Sgt. Alain Leblanc also cautioned public not to reach out these men directly as “I think the nature of the charges speak for themselves,” adding that “they are serious charges.”
