Ramrattan was released on bail after the arrest, with the promise of appearing in court at the next hearing scheduled to take place on Jan. 4, 2013.

The police also took the opportunity to announce that they have taken 26 more skids of missing items in their custody on Thursday after executing a warrant at the same Brampton warehouse which was raided before. Overall, the investigators have now recovered 172 skids of donations in total. These recovered toys are being itemized by the police, after which they are promised to be returned to the Salvation Army. The whistleblower of the disappearances, spoke about the missing toys in August, initiated an internal investigation that eventually led to Rennie’s dismissal earlier this month.
