Three additional Toronto suspects arrested in Christopher Skinner murder investigation

On Sunday, October 18, 2009, at 3:05 a.m., police responded to a call for a pedestrian struck in the Adelaide Street East/Victoria Street area.

The victim was later identified as Christopher Skinner, the 27-year-old who was run over by an SUV downtown Toronto after attempting to hail a cab on Adelaide Street in the city’s entertainment district around 3 a.m.

On Wednesday, November 6, 2013, Agustin Alexander Caruso, 23, of Toronto, was charged with:

1. Second-Degree Murder

As a result of further investigation, the following three arrests have been made:

On Thursday, November, 14, 2013, Jamaal Phillips Bond, 23, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

1. Assault Causing Bodily Harm
2. Obstruct Police

He is scheduled to appear in court at College Park on Friday, November 15, 2013, room 501, 10 a.m.

On Tuesday, November 12, 2013, Nicholas Swaby, 23, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

1. Assault Causing Bodily Harm

On Monday, November 11, 2013, Anthony Samuel, 24, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

1. Conspiracy to Commit indictable offence of Aggravated Assault
2. Obstruct Police

The investigation is ongoing.
