James McManus and Bryan Devraennes arrested for breaking into laundry machines in Ottawa

On August 24, 2010, the Ottawa Police Service Break and Enter Unit arrested and charged two males for several break and enters into coin operated laundry rooms in residential buildings throughout the centre town area.

The investigation revealed that suspects would break into the buildings to access the laundry room and remove cash from the machines.

James McManus, 25-years-old of Ottawa, and Bryan Devraennes, 42-years-old of Ottawa, have been charged jointly for the following offences:

3 Counts of Break & Enter and Theft
3 Counts of Possessing Burglary Tools
3 Counts of Possessing Coin Operated Burglary Tools
3 Counts of Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offence

McManus is also charged with 20 counts of breach of conditions.

Both appeared in court on August 25, 2010 for show cause.
