Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a body found at 6910 Cadillac about 7:40 a.m. Monday.

The victim’s identity and cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The victim is described only as an individual wearing a pair of worn, blue work pants and a light brown shirt.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Bush and T. Hanslik reported:

A homeless male, attempting to find shelter in an abandoned building at the above address, discovered the skeletal remains of the victim.

The investigation is pending autopsy results but foul play is not suspected at this time.
