Two Houston men die in a fatal traffic accident

Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 11900 block of Briar Forest about 2 a.m. on Saturday (April 28).

The two male victims, 25 and 21, of Houston, were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities are pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Thomas and Officer J. Morales reported:

One of the victims was driving a black Dodge Neon westbound on Briar Forest at a very high rate of speed when he lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway and struck a tree, killing the driver and passenger.

No other persons nor vehicles were involved in this accident.
