On Wednesday, April 06, 2011 at 2:45 AM, a female was walking alone, west bound on Riverside Drive near Wilson Avenue. A male grabbed the woman from behind and dragged her off of the sidewalk. A London Police Officer was on patrol in the area when he observed the attack and subsequent struggle. He intervened and chased the suspect. The suspect was arrested a short distance away.
Police currently have 22 year old Dylan Bilyea of London in custody and have charged him with sexual assault, criminal harassment and threats.
