Two men charged in early morning Ottawa stabbing

On Thursday, May 5, 2011, shortly after 4:00 am, the Ottawa Police Service responded to a 911 disturbance call at a residence in the area of Prince of Wales Drive and Waterford Drive in the city’s west end.

The victim, a 38 year old male, was transported to hospital with stab wounds. The victim is in stable condition. Two males were arrested shortly after the incident. Subsequent investigation by West District Investigations has led to criminal charges against the following individuals:

Christopher CHISOLM, 32 year old man of Mississauga

• Aggravated Assault
• Assault with a Weapon x2
• Possession of Imitation Firearm
• Possession of Firearm While Prohibited

Jacob KIRTON, 24 year old man of Ottawa

• Breach Probation
• Accessory After the Fact for Aggravated Assault

Both parties are jointly charged with:

Theft Over $5000
