On Thursday, May 12, 2011, the Toronto Police Service Sex Crimes Unit started a sexual assault investigation and arrested a man.
It is alleged that:
– a woman, in distress, was approached by a man in the Perth Avenue/Ernest Avenue area
– the man offered to help her
– the man then took her back to his home and sexually assaulted her
Emmanuel France, 45, of Toronto, has been charged with:
1) Sexual Assault.
He was scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall, on Friday, May 13, 2011, room 101, at 10 a.m.
