The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance identifying a man wanted in a sexual assault investigation.
It is reported that:
– on Monday, April 30, 2012, a woman riding the subway in the Downsview Subway Station area was sexually assaulted by a man
On Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at approximately 5:45 p.m., Adilahmed Shaikh, 29, of Toronto, was arrested.
He is charged with:
1) Sexual assault
He is scheduled to appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East, on Friday June 8, 2012, at 10 a.m.
