The Hamilton Police Service Homicide Unit is investigating the City of Hamilton’s 2nd homicide for 2012.
On Monday, May 21st, 2012 just before 6:00 p.m., Hamilton Police responded to a call for shots fired at 16 Milton Ave.
Upon arrival, police found two male victims who had sustained gunshot wounds. Both men were rushed to hospital.
The first victim, 34 years of age of Hamilton, received life saving surgery for his injuries.
The second victim, 23 year old James Bajkor of Hamilton, succumbed to his injuries and died while at hospital. Neither victim was a resident of 16 Milton Ave.
The Homicide Unit is continuing the investigation.
