On Sunday, May 9, 2010, police responded to a call for a theft at The Princess Margaret Hospital Lodge at 545 Jarvis Street.

It is reported that:

– on Saturday, May 8, 2010, at 4:25 p.m. a man entered the hospital and went floor to floor,

– the man entered the vacant room of a elderly cancer patient, who was in the lobby area with his daughter,

– the man stole the victim’s laptop computer, which contained a number of sentimental photos of her recently deceased daughter,

– the man placed the laptop computer inside the victim’s black carry-all bag and left the hospital.

The suspect is described as white, 25-30, 5’10" with short, dark-brown gelled hair. He was last seen wearing a red/yellow jacket, blue jeans and white running shoes.
