Police responded to a 911 call at the 2400 block of Victory Lane in Halifax at 530 pm, in relation to a 17-year-old male with two stab wounds to his back. The victim stated he was at the basketball court on Creighton Street, when he felt the stab wounds to his back. When he turned he saw a male dressed in black, he could give no further decription. The victim ran to Victory Lane to get help and the suspect fled on foot, police are attempting to locate him at this time.
The victim was taken to the QEII Hospital to be treated for non life threatening injuries.
