Father and stepmother charged in Peel Region’s Second Homicide

On Saturday, June 12, 2010, at approximately 9:00 a.m., officers responded to an address on Savita Road, for a report of a female with no vital signs. Tiffany GAYLE, a 15 year-old resident of Brampton, was found deceased, with signs of trauma to her body.

Results from a post mortem conducted on Monday, June 14, 2010, indicated that the cause of death was ‘blunt force trauma’.

On Tuesday, June 15, 2010, investigators from the Homicide Bureau arrested the following two individuals, in connection with the case:

Fedrick GAYLE, the father of the victim, will be charged with Second Degree Murder. GAYLE, a 42 year-old Brampton man, is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on Wednesday, June 16, 2010.

Elizabeth GAYLE, the stepmother of the victim, will be charged with Second Degree Murder. GAYLE, a 43 year-old resident of Brampton, is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on Wednesday, June 16, 2010.
