On Tuesday, August 24, 2010, at 8 p.m., police received a call for the sound of gunshots in the Cather Crescent/Trafford Lane area.

Officers located a 24-year-old man at the rear of 41 Cather Crescent, suffering from obvious trauma. He was pronounced dead in hospital on Wednesday, August 25, 2010.

The description of the male suspect is black, short hair, large muscular build, 6’- 6’2”, 240 lbs, early 20s.

The victim has been identified as Randy Anthony Malcolm, 24, of Toronto.

A post-mortem examination will be scheduled.
