Adam Goodsell of Albuquerque arrested for child porn in Winnipeg

On August 12, 2010 with information forwarded by cybertip,members of the Winnipeg Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit became involved in an investigation where a witness came forward identifying an individual who may be in possession of child abuse imagery.

The investigation commenced at which time investigators were able to substantiate the information provided. As a result, Law Enforcement in Albuquerque, New Mexico was notified of the ongoing investigation. It was at this time Authorities in New Mexico proceeded with their investigation.

On August 20, 2010, Adam GOODSELL 28, years of Albuquerque was arrested and charged with 60 counts of possession and 10 counts of distribution involving sexual exploitation of children.

The Winnipeg Police Service continues to work cooperatively with International Police Agencies with a common goal of combating against crimes where children are being abused and exploited.
