Rui Gomes charged with threatening a parking ticketing officer in Toronto

On Monday, September 20, 2010, police arrested a man for making threats to a TPS Parking Enforcement Officer.

It is alleged that:

– on Thursday, September 16, 2010, the accused received a parking ticket,

– he then called the TPS Parking Enforcement West Unit to make a complaint about the officer,

– during the conversation, the accused made threats on the officer who wrote the ticket.

Rui Gomes, 46, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1) Threatening Bodily Harm,
2) Threatening Death.

He is scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall, on Tuesday, October 26, 2010, room 111, at 11 a.m.
