Loreto Munar and Mary-Jean Tatlonghari arrested for Corrupting children in Toronto

On Thursday, September 23, 2010, police charged a man and woman following a prostitution investigation.

It is alleged that:

– the man and woman were operating a common bawdy house in an apartment in the Birchmount Road/Kennedy Road area,

– ads were placed on a internet site for prostitution,

– they then employed a 16-year-old girl as a prostitute,

– they also placed an ad for a child care center at the same apartment.

Loreto Munar, 27, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1) two counts of Live on avails of prostitution,
2) Keep Common bawdy-house,
3) Householder permit sexual activity,
4) Corrupting children,

Mary-Jean Tatlonghari, 28, also known as Christine Munar and Lisa Lee, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1) two counts of Live on avails of prostitution,
2) Exercise control,
3) Keep Common bawdy-house,
4) Householder permit sexual activity,
5) Corrupting children,

Police believe there may be more victims.
