On Sunday, September 26, 2010, at approximately 3 a.m., police responded to a shooting call in the Shaw Street/Bloor Street West area.

It is alleged that:

– a 30-year-old man and friends were at a party on Bloor Street West, along with the suspect,

– the group left the party and got into a car parked on Bloor Street West, when the suspect followed the group and approached their car,

– a verbal argument unsued and shots were fired,

– the victim, 30, was shot and rushed to hospital via emergency run.

A Canada-Wide Warrant has been issued for Tsegai Ghebreigziabiher, 26, for:

1. Attempted Murder,
2. Robbery with a Firearm,
3. Discharge Firearm Endanger Life.

Tsegai Ghebreigziabiher, 26, is described as black, 5’8”-5’11”, 160 lbs., with short, black hair and brown eyes.

He is to be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call police.

Police suggest that he contact a lawyer and surrender to police.
