80 year old pedestrian killed by a cyclist in Vancouver

The Vancouver Police Collision Investigation Unit is investigating the death of a pedestrian after he was struck by a cyclist on the morning of Wednesday, November 17th.

At about 6:30 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, November 17th a cyclist was riding northbound in the curb lane of the 3500 block Main Street. The pedestrian, an 80 year old Vancouver man, began to cross the street mid-block and was struck by the cyclist.
 

The pedestrian was taken to hospital with a serious head injury and, sadly, passed away on the morning of November 18th.
