Man Charged in Break and Enters

Officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section have laid charges in a number of break and enters.

The incidents occurred on September 13, October 3 and November 28 in the south end of the city. His arrest came after a couple returned home Saturday night and found the man in their residence. They were able to detain the man until police arrived. Through the investigation, the man was linked to the earlier incidents.

Twenty-eight-year-old Jean Pierre D’Entremont of Halifax, faces charges of break and enter, possession of break and enter tools and possession of stolen property. He was scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court today.
