Oshawa man charged for threatening police on Facebook

USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…A 22-year-old Oshawa man has been arrested after posting online threats to kill police officers.

On Monday, March 2, 2015, police were notified that a video had been uploaded to Facebook by a male which contained threats to kill police officers. Investigators determined that this male resides in Oshawa and were able to locate numerous threats on both Facebook and YouTube with details about his intentions to kill police. Officers attended his residence and arrested the male without incident.

A search warrant was executed at the suspects address and knives, a machete, and a sword were seized.

Thomas HELMLE, age 22, of Cherrydown Drive in Oshawa, is charged with: Uttering Threats and Possession of Weapons Dangerous. He was held for a bail hearing.
