The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating a wanted man for a homicide investigation.

It is alleged that:

– on Saturday, February 5, 2011, the victim was at a restaurant in the Keele Street/Sheppard Avenue West area,

– the victim was involved in an altercation with another man,

– the man then stabbed the victim,

– the victim later died from his injuries.

On Monday, February 7, 2011, the post-mortem examination was conducted and revealed the cause of death was a stab wound to the body.

The victim has been identified as Omar Baldwin, 29, of Toronto.

Simeon Dewhite Minott, 29, of Toronto, is wanted for:

1) Second Degree Murder.

Police are not releasing the wanted man’s photograph because of the ongoing investigation.
