It is alleged that:
– during 2004, the accused sexually assaulted two young girls.
The accused was an employee of Selwyn Community Daycare Centre at the time of the alleged offences. The Selwyn Community Daycare Centre and his current employer, Jackman Daycare Centre, are co-operating with the police investigation.
As a result of further information, on Wednesday, February 16, 2011, James (Jim) Mallais, 38, has been additionally charged with:
1. Sexual Exploitation,
2. Sexual Interference,
3. Sexual Assault.
The accused appeared at College Park Courts, on Friday, February 18, 2011.
Police believe there may be other victims.
