Three British suspects facing terrorism offences have appeared in court on Thursday over an alleged beheading plot against some U.K. citizen.

Yousaf Shah Syed, 19, from High Wycombe, Bucks, Nadir Ali Sayed, 21, from Hounslow, and Haseeb Hamayoon, 27, from Hayes, were arrested following overnight raids in London and High Wycombe in the lead up to Remembrance Sunday.

According to a statement released at the time of arrest, the force have said the arrests were due to suspicions about a possible attack and were “part of an on-going investigation into Islamist related terrorism”.

All three suspects have been charged with “the intention of committing acts of terrorism, or engaged in conduction or preparation of terrorism, contrary to section 5 of the terrorism act.”

The trio appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today dressing in long grey tops.

The court heard from the prosecutors that the three men may have been plotting “to behead somebody in the U.K.” after being inspired by a speech from the terror group ISIS, which called for attacks on “disbelievers”.

The men were remanded in custody until their next court appearance at the OId Bailey on December 4.

No application for bail was made.

A fourth suspect, arrested in Uxbridge during the November 6 raids, was released on November 15 without any charge and no further action.
