Just in time for the new year, the Toronto Argonauts Football Club is pleased to announce that LB Jason Pottinger has extended with the Argos through the 2011 season. Pottinger arrived in Toronto in March 2009 in a trade with the B.C. Lions. In his first season with the Argonauts, fourth in the CFL, the Whitby, Ontario native finished with 12 special teams tackles. He also recorded six defensive tackles, one quarterback sack and forced a fumble while subbing in on defence at middle linebacker. He was a key cog for Toronto’s special teams unit that saw recently resigned teammate Andre Durie put up 1,033 kickoff return yards (the fourth-highest single season total in club history).| < Prev | Next > |
