Eat|See|Hear: "Pretty in Pink"
Eat|See|Hear Movies presented by Fandango is bringing their roving outdoor summer movie night to Long Beach. Combining popular films with live indie bands and some of the city's most famous food trucks, these outdoor events make for a quintessential California summer experience. Eat|See|Hear is rolling the largest outdoor movie screen west of the Mississippi to Marina Green Park for a screening of Pretty in Pink, the classic '80s "Brat Pack" flick starring Molly Ringwald as a working class girl caught between her crush on a rich preppie (Andrew McCarthy) and her best friend, the sweet but quirky Duckie (Jon Cryer). L.A. indie rockers LA Font open the evening with their SoCal-centric, Pavement-influenced sounds. As always, a variety of the city's best food trucks will be on hand to dish out food from burgers to brats, with stops at all points in between.
