Deep Fried Fish Sticks
Serves 4
Ingredients:
½ lb white fish meat
2 egg whites
Mixture A:
1 tbsp flour
1 tbsp cornstarch
A pinch of salt and MSG
Oil for deep-frying
1 tomato, thinly sliced
Dip:
Ketchup
Directions:
Cut the fillet into finger-length pieces and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Beat the egg whites until stiff. Fold in Mixture A. Dip the fish into this coating.
Heat the oil in a wok and deep-fry the fish. Place on a serving dish and garnish with the tomato slices. Serve with the table seasonings.
