In an interview with, Kuol challenged the procedures taken to remove him and the elected colleagues serving in the office.

“This decision of saying they have removed us from leadership gives everybody lots of laughter when someone who knows football norms hears the steps taken by these people. We were not called by individuals from our homes to come and represent few people here in the association but were elected through legal procedures in the presence of South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) representatives as well as Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) who witnessed our democratic elections,” he said.

He said the few people of common interest met and forged signatures of other people and claimed to have removed the leadership.

He said the group had no such powers and no consultations were made and that the officials still have everything including the keys, stamp and other official documents.

Kuol says that his administration is in preparation for the upcoming league for both first, second and third classes teams whereby the champions of the first class teams will again participate in South Sudan Cup competition.

He also says that his administration is leadership is ready to deliver more efficiently and hopes to work in collaboration with other institutions to develop football spirit and professionalism in Northern Bahr el Ghazal State.

He urges football lovers both in the state and national level to be calm and refrain from such unconstitutional and illegal procedures against any democratic elected body in the nearest future.

The Vice President of the Association in the state, Andrea Majok Wek says the association’s management reacted positively to attempt through legal and professional steps by holding a meeting and having produced an official response in a written form to the group telling them that the steps taken were not legally recognized and must be challenged on legal context.

Majok who partially admitted the weakness on other judgment of refereeing some games by local referees on technical aspects says the weaknesses are always humans and are easily corrected when there is cooperation.

the representatives of all clubs from the first and second division expressed a vote of no confidence in the association’s administration and recommended for immediate replacement to avoid interferences of intruding the assets and other belongings of the association.

Speaking to the journalists on behalf of clubs’ representatives after the meeting, Mr. Lual Noon Lual says the association has been failing to handle several administrative and technical football issues in the state.

Lual also says that the association has been reluctant to reform on mandated duties and improve on weakness.

“We are not against any personalities managing the administration of the association here in Northern Bahr el Ghazal but the way they are running the public affairs in the association is unprofessional and unconstitutional. We representatives of different clubs here in the state have seen how the association has ruined our public office. We have been in consultation with Ministry of Youth, Culture and Sports here in the state as well as general football association in Juba for quick intervention to resolve outstanding issues, but no immediate action was taken,” Lual said.

Lual said they have taken a decision to elect a temporary acting committee in the positions to rescue the situation.

Among newly temporary nominees are Bona Bol as deputy secretary, Deng Dut Yak Financial Secretary, deputized by Piol Akok Bol and finally Dominic Dumo Abanga as a member, all in acting capacity.

The South Sudan Football Association officials were not reached for comments on the developments.
