Veteran actor and politician Vinod Khanna breathed his last at Mumbai’s HN Reliance Hospital on Thursday morning. The 70-year-old actor was suffering from advanced bladder carcinoma (bladder cancer) and hospitalized due to severe dehydration in the first week of April. He was also a sitting Bharatiya Janata Party member of the Lok Sabha from the Gurdaspur constituency in Punjab.

Although Vinod Khanna is no more with us, his long lived career in the film industry will always stay with everyone. Vinod Khanna had starred in some of the most iconic films including Mere Apne, Mera Gaon Mera Desh, Gaddaar, Jail Yatra, Imitihaan, Inkaar, Kuchhe Dhaage, Amar Akbar Anthony, Qurbani, Kudrat, Dayavan, Kaarnama, Suryaa: An Awakening and Jurm.
