Newbies Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra rose to fame with their performances in Aamir Khan’s wrestling biopic, Dangal. The girls essayed the roles of real-life wrestlers Geeta Phogat and Babita Phogat. The film was a biopic on Mahavir Singh Phogat, essayed by Aamir Khan, who raises his daughters to become world champions in wrestling. Ever since their Dangal days, the two ladies have stayed close and been BFFs.
While they are called promising actresses and eventually have taken their own route in films, they often meet up and stay in touch. Whenever Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra are not filming, they catch up over lunch, dinner or have a girl’s night. Just a day ago, these two ladies met and had a wonderful time with each other and their pictures and videos are proof.
On the work front, Sanya Malhotra has completed the shooting of Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Badhai Ho and directed by Amit Sharma. She is also starring in a film with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and another film Chhuriyaan with Vishal Bhardwaj. Fatima Sana Shaikh, once again, will star with Aamir Khan in Thugs of Hindostan alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Katrina Kaif which is set to release in November 2018.
