Rajkumar Yadavs full monty act in Shahid

Post Neil Nitin Mukesh and John Abraham going full monty in Jail and New York respectively, we hear that Rajkumar Yadav who made his mark with Ragini MMS, will be doing the same in his next film Shahid.

Directed by Hansal Mehta, Shahid is based on the fascinating true story of slain human rights activist and lawyer Shahid Azmi. Accused of terrorist links, Shahid was imprisoned under a draconian law before he went on to become a fearless lawyer who became a powerful voice against the inter-communal violence that has engulfed Mumbai since the early 1990s.

It’s a very intense scene, where he is detained by the police and stripped naked as part of interrogation. Says Hansal, "The nakedness of the character is symbolic of the violation of human rights and stripping of equality in our society. The scene in question is very intense, where the protagonist is detained by the police and stripped naked as part of an interrogation. It was emotionally draining for Rajkumar. My initial instruction to him was to remove only his shirt but ultimately we decided he had to strip.”
Shahid is also going of the Toronto Film Festival this year.
