USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…After a lot of hard work, the Priyanka Chopra starrer Mary Kom is now nearing the release marquee. The actress who is excited about the release is leaving no stones unturned to promote the film and now we hear that the film will premiere at Toronto.
The organizers announced the world premiere of the film at the 39th Toronto International Film Festival that will take place between from September 4 to 14. The makers believe that this inspiring story of triumph of a small town Manipuri woman making it global as a boxing champion should be told to the world and hence the premiere at TIFF.
Priyanka Chopra who is excited about the film's release recently released a teaser of the film on July 18 as a birthday surprise to her fans. The actress underwent extensive training to get the look of the boxer right and she received support from the World boxing champion Mary Kom herself.
Produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Mary Kom is directed by Omung Kumar and the film is slated to release worldwide on September 5.
