However Reena Roy's sister, Barkha Roy not only denies her sister's surgery, she claims Reena Roy is not in town.
Says Barkha, "My sister had gone for a routine check-up last week. Now she is in Goa."
Reena Roy's weighty issue surfaced when recently the actress was spotted in public after years looking many sizes larger than her former slim self.
A close concerned friend says, "She definitely needs to lose weight. But she has no intention of or interest in making a comeback in films."
