Case filed against Salman Khan in UP court

One TV show that never fails to stay out of news and controversy is ‘Bigg Boss 4’. The latest controversy to hit the reality show is a case filed in a court in Aligarh (district of Uttar Pradesh) over the vulgar content of the show. What’s however surprising is the fact that the case has been filed not just against the producer and director of the reality show but also against Salman Khan who hosts it. Besides even the MD of COLORS channel, which airs the show and a few contestants namely Dolly Bindra, Ali Merchant, Sara Khan, Shweta Tiwari and Samir Soni who are part of the show have not been spared in this appeal. The case was filed in a court in Aligarh district under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including 293 (sale of obscene objects), 294 (obscene acts and songs), and 120 B (criminal conspiracy). The complaint who filed this case is Aligarh based lawyer Anoop Kaushik who is against airing of the reality show for its vulgar and obscene content. The hearing date of the case has been fixed as Nov 24.
