Whether it's the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Happy New Year or the John Abraham starrer Welcome Back, Dubai seems to be the latest love of filmmakers. Not just that, the makers try to shoot their films at exotic and expensive locations which just adds to the curiousity being created around the film.
Welcome Back, which has had an extensive schedule in Dubai, has been shot at such lavish locations. From featuring the World's largest ring to shooting in 'The House Of Gold', Welcome Back seems to have put Dubai's wealth on display.
Recently we hear that the lead actors which include John Abraham, Shruti Hassan, Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor along with the rest of the cast shot for a particular sequence in 'The House Of Gold' in Dubai. The house in the film belongs to Paresh Rawal's character and features all the interiors in 25 carat gold; from the lampshades right down to the door knobs. Sources reveal that the house belongs to a wealthy sheikh in Dubai, who was happy to open his doors for the shoot. Anees Bazmee confirms the news, "Yes, the house belongs to a Sheikh family in Dubai and the interiors of the house are made of gold. It is really beautiful."
Produced by Firoz A Nadiadwala, Welcome Back is directed by Anees Bazmee. The film also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Dimple Kapadia, Shiney Ahuja, Ankita Srivastava among others and is scheduled to release on May 29, 2015.
